Rite of Christian Initiation (R.C.I.A.)

The author, Fr. William O’Mally, once wrote: “The soul is unquestionably there, but it is only potential, it needn’t be activated. The Spirit is to the soul as the flame is to the candle. It is the soul fully alive.”

Our faith journey is all about us as a soul. Activation of the soul is required to find the peace we all seek. Each of us is a temporary being on this Earth, but we, as a soul, are eternal, some seeking a path to peaceful eternity as promised by Jesus Christ, some dormant as an unlit candle. Where do you fit in?

Each year, hundreds of people discover how they can get a jump start in their faith journey through the R.C.I.A. program. This is an opportunity to discover how you can find that inner peace you may have been seeking.

R.C.I.A. sessions are informal with absolutely no obligation on anyone’s part, only the opportunity to “come and see” if it is for you.

The session entitled, “The Journey of Faith”, begins on Wednesday Sept.9, 2015 at St. Bernard Church. For further information, please call Howard Hunt at 479-855-7933, cell phone 763-229-2843 or the Parish Office at 479-855-9069.
